Information & Locations

Direfell is the metal city first introduced in chapter five. Direfell exists within the plane-world known as Midnight and is ruled tyrannically by a dwarf-king named Reimar, who has declared himself the Ironmaster.

It is also the main hub of information and story-progression throughout the first two arcs.

Appearance & Design

What came into view was a massive monolith of old rustic steel, towering into the sky as if it sprouted outwards randomly from the ground. Giant sheets of metal bunched together to create a sprawling sharp-edged outer wall that surrounded the city, while outside the walls lied an entire ecosystem of small huts dug into the desert hills, piled together with old sheets of metal and tin.

Hundreds of people could be seen moving about, their appearances ranging from the usual humanoid to anything but, while a slanted path carved its way directly through the slums toward the metal walls that kept the desert out.

- As described in chapter five of book one.
